Don’t know where he came from, don’t know where he’s been, but he’s not going anywhere now
***Update you guys: There is no microchip. I repeat. There is no microchip. Bigfoot is here to stay. Hip hip hooray***
This handsome fellow just showed up out of no where one day. He acts like he’s lived here his whole life. I live in a very quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. My family and a guy that lives across from us are the only people on the whole street that have cats.

Seeing a new cat in my front yard was a pleasant surprise. From the start he was very friendly and affectionate. He seemed well cared for too. A healthy weight and his fur was clean and soft. This was obviously someone’s cat. So we asked around the neighborhood but no one claimed him or knew where he came from.

I’ve known people that have gone and dropped their cats off somewhere because they didn’t want to be responsible for them anymore. They just assume that someone will find it and start taking care of it. People like that are just as bad as people who move away and leave their cats behind. So we think he was abandoned here.

My cats took to him right away which was a relief because this guy found his forever home. We started calling him Bigfoot because he has big feet compared to my other cats. He seems to like that.

Congratulations on your new cat. I love the little white chin😊💜
-
That little white patch on his chin looks like a tiny beard, and it suits him perfectly. It gives him an extra bit of character and makes him look far more distinguished than he probably has any right to be. Combined with those expressive eyes, he has the look of a cat who has seen a lot over the years and would prefer everyone listen while he shares his thoughts. The beard really completes the whole look.

What an expressive fellow!
-
This cat has one of the most expressive faces imaginable. Every photo feels completely different depending on the angle, the ears, and the look in his eyes. One second he looks delighted to be there, the next he looks mildly offended, and then somehow he is back to looking completely innocent. Some cats always have the same expression, but this little guy seems to have a whole range of them. It makes every picture twice as cute.

I love the last picture. Little fluffy demon. I truly love the fact that you already know he’s not going anywhere. Thank you for being the one that gives him the forever home and love he deserves. You are truly a good person.

He’s absolutely the cutest hunk of snugglable love! Bigfoot! Love his name. Yeah. CDS did real good this time. For all of you!
-
The CDS really knocked it out of the park with this one. Bigfoot got a safe home, a family that already adores him, and a group of resident cats that welcomed him right in. Meanwhile, the family got a friendly, affectionate cat who apparently decided they were the perfect match. It feels like one of those rare cases where everybody wins. Bigfoot no longer has to wander around looking for a place to belong, and his new hoomans get to enjoy having this big-pawed sweetheart around every day.
